ALPO Inquiry: Participation and Presentation Details
Dear Organizing Committee,
I hope this message finds you well.
On behalf of the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers (ALPO), I would like to express our strong interest in participating in the 2026 International Pro-Am Workshop this October. We are very encouraged by the focus of this meeting and its alignment with ALPO’s mission of supporting and advancing Pro-Am collaboration.
As we evaluate potential participation, I was hoping you could provide a few additional details to help us with our planning:
Do you have an estimate of the expected number of attendees for the workshop?
Will there be opportunities for organizations such as ALPO to present papers, talks, or potentially lead a session or workshop?
Is there any provision for organizational presence, such as a small booth or display area, or would participation primarily be through presentations and interaction?
We are very interested in contributing to the program and sharing the work of our sections and observers, particularly in areas where amateur contributions are making a meaningful impact.
